Super fun Sunday!
We had a great day yesterday. Got up early and went to breakfast, I was 95% on plan, the only real treat I had was a very small carton of milk.
After that there was a stealth trip thru walmart where we only got some deli meat, some water, and a power inverter. We dropped the goods off at home and went on a road trip adventure to Wonder World in San Marcos, Texas.
I thought it was a cave but it was actually a crevise (that word just sounds nasty) caused by an earthquake. It is about 120 feet below ground, and quite a hike for me. I thought it was pretty cool, but I love to go thru the caves.
After the underground we went to the observation deck, about 120 feet above the ground and got to look around. It was a great view, you could actually see where the hill country is on one side of the fault line and then the flat (boring) part of Texas is. Quite a beautiful view.
We rode the "train" which was actually a tractor pulling little cars thru the water fall and then went thru this little animal petting zoo. We hand fed deer, we meaning me, I don't mind getting my hands dirty, and got to see some gorgeous peacocks and peahens and a deer which was born a week previous.
I'll see if I can get Michael to post some pics and I'll link to them.
We got home about 9 pm and were both exhausted but the day ended on plan, we had good snacks, waited to have dinner til we got home which was grilled chicken and a green salad. I am really impressed with how well we are doing this time around. It is much easier than before.
I can't promise to post daily, but I'll try to post more often.
