I am so glad that 2005 is over and done with. In some ways this has been the best year of my life and in other ways it has been the worst.

Michael’s mom passed away in her sleep on the 31st. It is a very sad time for us and having had this happen during the holidays made it seem worse. I am so glad she is no longer in pain and is finally in peace. She had a rough time the last year but I know when she passed she knew how deeply we all loved her.

We had the funeral on Monday and took some days off work to get some things done.

I’ll post more later including everything else that has gone on.
