I must say I am torn. On the one hand I am hurt that no one seems to think I could be a brazen hussy. On the other hand, I'm glad it wasn't assumed.
I was trying to be dramatic, but you all guessed correctly. Michael and I got married last week while on vacation. We had a wonderful stress-free wedding. We left home and headed for Tennessee on Thursday the 29th, we spent one night in Nashville before getting into our cabin. We had rented a smaller cabin but I had cancelled it when the hurricane was looking like it was coming for us and we had to evacuate. When I called them once we returned home they had rented our place but they put us in a larger cabin for the same cost of ours. Here is a link for it, I'm too lazy to link it correctly: http://www.chaletsofthesmokies.com/savagegardens.html
It was beautiful! We took a nekkid dip in the hot tub outside almost every night. This place was huge and so homey. It was great to have a home base and not spend our vacation running from place to place and hotel room to hotel room.
We did tourist stuff throughout the weekend and when we got up Monday morning we went to the courthouse to get a license and went home to make plans. We went to a gown/tux rental shop, found a cute little chapel, also lazy linking: http://www.creeksideweddingchapel.com/
We went to a florist and got a bouquet and also went and got a simple cake. We were done by 4 pm that day and we went into the National park and did a little more siteseeing.
We woke up the next morning, went and picked up our clothes and were married before noon. We did the ceremony outside on the patio overlooking the creek. It was so sweet.
We spent the rest of the vacation relaxing and enjoying the scenery. It was beautiful out there, we were hoping for more fall colors and weather, but it was great. We had a little rain on last Thursday when we were driving home. I don't know if I'll post the pictures here but if you want to see them send me an email or note and I'll send ya a link once we get those uploaded.
It is good to be back at home, but sucks to be back at work. We came back exhausted and I feel like a zombie right now.
